I am a native of Norfolk and have lived in the area most of my life. I graduated from Old Dominion University majoring in Accounting. After college, I worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years in Accounting & Hotel Management. I changed industries in 2005 to construction when a friend I met at one of the hotels I worked needed help with their local businesses - B&T Kitchens and Baths. I have embraced this industry and this company with the same passion and commitment as I did in the hotel industry. Although very different industries, there is a common thread; people. Regardless of the industry, I have made people my business.
In 2019, I had the opportunity to purchase B&T Kitchens and Baths | Remodeling division. Needless to say, it was an easy decision as this has been my home and the staff are like family.
At B&T Kitchens and Baths, our team is focused on our customers, and have an unwavering passion to reach for excellence in everything. One of my duties is to make sure everyone who walks through our doors, receives the best experience possible with their kitchen or bath remodeling project. We continue to review our processes to make sure we exceed our client’s expectations. Our employees are some of the BEST in Hampton Roads and I feel lucky to work with such a talented group that I can call my friends.
Kitchen design is an extension of each client and becomes more than just "a space"; it is a place memories are created. Even though we offer cabinetry and kitchen/bath remodeling services, our number one priority is building genuine relationships with our customers, with our industry partners and with each other.

After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in 2000 and my Master’s Degree in Kitchen & Bath Design in 2002, both from Virginia Tech, I worked for 8 years as a Kitchen Designer & Sales Associate. While I loved designing for clients from all facets of life, I felt my talents would be better suited in the operations side…a more behind the scenes position. That is what led me to B&T Kitchens and Baths.
Since August 2012, I have worked for B&T Kitchens and Baths as Design Coordinator. Although you may not see me (since I work behind the scenes), I do work on every job that comes through B&T. I am responsible for ordering your cabinets, countertops and hardware. It is important to us that you enjoy and love your new kitchen or bath, and part of my job is to review for accuracy to ensure a successful project! I do this by making sure your order is correct and all the necessary materials are ordered so it arrives at your home complete and ready for installation, while keeping a foot in the design process.
At the end of 2018, I ventured into the accounting side of our company…gaining much knowledge and experience on how we operate to maintain positive operations. It has proven to be a challenge that has resulted in exponential personal and professional growth.

As a native of Virginia Beach, I have always been inspired by nature, music, the ocean, and other people. I work to remain in touch with my senses at all times and find my surroundings alluring and enriching whatever they may be. With my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Longwood University and a background in custom kitchen design, I have found a passion for creating functional but beautiful kitchens and bathrooms.
Most of my memories growing up take place in my family’s kitchen. Whether I was doing homework at the island, learning to bake with my mom, or wrestling our pups on the floor, our kitchen had many functions and brought together so many important relationships. Every day I work hard to create kitchen designs for clients that can foster the same type of relationships I experienced in my own kitchen while incorporating their own traditions and ideas. Kitchen design has been a fulfilling career for me and I hope to continue growing and serving families in the Tidewater area.
Lyndsay is a Chesapeake native and has a huge heart for all of those furry 4-legged friends. She is an animal lover and has two adorable dogs who seem to test her patience each day. Family has always been a cornerstone for Lyndsay and loves spending free time with her husband, family and friends.
Lyndsay came aboard at B&T in 2020 with the same enthusiasm she had during her 12 years in the customer service industry. She has a strong need to help others and has embraced her new role at B&T with the same drive and energy. Lyndsay is currently wearing two hats at B&T; accounting and design support. Her goal is to always make our Clients feel as comfortable as possible so there is a clear line of communication and expectation.
As a Virginia Beach native, I’ve spent most of my life by the coast—aside from a 12-year adventure in Northern Virginia, where I grew to appreciate the diversity and fast-paced energy of the D.C. area. Ultimately, the pull of the beach and being close to family brought me home, and with it, the opportunity to bring my strengths in communication, connection, and process optimization to the remodeling world.
With 19 years of experience in retail management, I’ve always been drawn to roles that involve people and problem-solving. Now, as Design and Field Liaison at B&T Kitchens and Baths, I bridge the gap between creative vision and real-world execution, helping ensure each project runs smoothly from concept to completion. I’ve always had an artistic side so blending the art and science of kitchen and bath design feels like a natural fit.
Outside of work, I enjoy beach days, supporting local businesses with friends, and taking care of my pet cat, Vincent. I’ve recently entered my “health era,” which has given me a deeper appreciation for how important a well-designed, functional kitchen is to someone’s lifestyle. Being part of the B&T team means more than executing projects—it’s about creating spaces that reflect the people who live in them, because our clients truly are an extension of who we are.
